Summer Update!

I can hardley believe that August is here! Wow..time flies. Pretty soon it will be September and time for my Birthday Vegas trip that I have been planning for the past few months or so! :D Yay! So let me update you all on a few things since its been about a month and a half since I last posted. The last thing I posted on was Jessie's Wedding. After that, I've pretty much been working a lot and hanging out w/my friends every chance I get. We've been doing a lot of fun things like...pool parties, guitar hero nights, going to the American Idol concert, and oh yeah..getting all the idols(w/the exception of Megan Joy and Alison Iraheta)' autographs after the show!!! :) Yup!!! Thats right...you read that correctly.

When Shala and I went to the Idols concert, we already thought we were having a fantastic night but then we were shown that the night would get even better because after the show, we waited around with other fans for a chance to get our favorite idols' autographs! We were excited as they started coming out but the one Idol that got us extremely excited was ADAM LAMBERT! :D He was our favorite for the whole season...we love Adam so we were extremely happy when he came by and actually gave us an autograph. He was so sweet..Thank you Adam. (Like he'll ever read this..haha) That concert was the highlight of my entire summer. :)

Coming up for the rest of summer, I have a Universal trip planned, as well as trips to Sea World, Disneyland, LA, etc. etc. Its going to be a busy last month of summer but I am definitely looking forward to it!

Jessie's Wedding! :)

So this past week has been a lot of fun! It ended with Jessie's Wedding on Saturday! Congratulations to the bride and groom! :) I had a great time. There was a wedding in a church, followed by cocktail hour at La Valencia in La Jolla. After that, we went to the reception(also at La Valencia) and had a great buffet for dinner! The food was sooooo good! :) There were some toasts, the traditional bouquet and garter toss(Felipe caught the garter) and of course dancing! I had a great time..Congratulations again to Jessie and Shane! :)

Del Mar Fair, Shelly's Party and David Cook! :)

So this week consisted of going to the Del Mar Fair twice...going to the David Cook concert and Shelly's going away party at my house. Everything was so much fun! Can you believe I had all this in one week? Crazy! The fair was awesome..I had a great time there...doing all the normal fair things like eating great food, checking out great lil' gadgets, and watching the hypnotist show! The David Cook concert was great as well! He rocked the stage!!! It was fun seeing him in person..my voice is a little hoarse today cause of all the screaming I did. :P Shelly's party was another thing I did this week. That was fun too! We all hung out at my house, had some pizza, beer and s'mores around a bonfire. It was a great time! Now I'm looking forward to Jessie's Wedding tomorrow...I'll keep you all posted on how that is! :) 'Til Next Time....

Disney Again! :D

I went back to Disneyland yesterday with Shala and Kyle! We had a great time and went on rides that we haven't been on in a long time! :) It was fun..we started the day off at Splash Mtn...I ended up not getting in the pic cause I'm so short. haha..but we had a great time on that ride. After that, we went on a few more rides like Pirates, California Screamin', Tower of Terror, Soarin' over California, Indiana Jones, Space Mountain, and Star Tours. We also had a chance to do the Animation Academy, which was fun cause we learned how to draw Tigger! For dinner that night, we ate at the Storyteller's Cafe in The Wilderness Lodge..which was great! I had the spaghetti..which was awesome. It was fun to try out a new place that we all had had our eye on for a while. This was Shala's last time at Disneyland(for a while) so we made the most of it and had a great time! :)

Well thats about it for Disneyland...the next big thing for me this summer is my friend Blair's Wedding on Sunday. Until Next Time.....

Test Show for Conan

So this week started the many fun events I have planned for Summer '09. Shala, Kyle and I went to see a test show for the new Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien. It was awesome! Hilarious and I can't wait to go again. Pretty much what a test show is, is a real show, just now shown on the air. (I think they show it to producers and other important people.) So the cool thing about it was that as we arrived yesterday, we were told that we'd be in the VIP grp...which is funny cause we thought we were running late and end up being VIP. Just as we were walking in, the NBC Page was telling us that we were part of the test show's VIP grp so we'd get different colored tickets and get to go in sooner than a few grps of people. We ended up sitting 4th row back! :) Oh and before the show, Conan comes out and talks to everyone and this girl behind us asked if she could have a picture. He agreed to it and walked right up our aisle and behind us. It was so cool to see him in person(btw..hes very tall..lol). We had a great time..and that was only the first fun event of Summer '09! Next, we're going up to Disneyland on Thursday...then the fair in June to see David Cook in concert(and have a great time at the fair too of course). Conan was a fun way to start summer. I can't wait till we go back and see a live taping! Until next time, everyone! :)

I can't believe its been 5 months since I posted anything!!! Wow...so here's an update from me. Well nothing too much has changed in the past 5 months. I'm still subbing..now I sub for Poway in addition to Valley Center and Escondido. I'm also still at Target. Life is going well. I've been doing many fun things w/friends..including going to Disneyland yesterday with my friends Shala and Kyle. :) I'll keep you all updated on what I'm up to next. Summer is just around the corner and I already have so much in store. I'm going to 2 weddings, the Del Mar Fair, The Orange County Fair, seeing David Cook in concert, seeing American Idol in concert, going to Six Flags, going to Knott's, going to see a test show of the new Conan O'Brien Show in Hollywood and last but not least, I'm heading to Disneyland a few times of course. Phew...I have a lot going on this summer. I'll be sure to update you all with some various pictures from those different events. Talk to ya'll later! :)
